AMF
Forest City Engineers undertook the MEP design work for an AMF, a brand new building in Stow that is currently under construction. This building featured a 35,000sf manufacturing/warehouse space and 6,000sf office space. To accommodate each space’s unique needs, FCE used single zone roof top HVAC units for the office, and a combination of air rotation units and unit heaters for the manufacturing/warehouse space. This combination provided an economical solution to the HVAC needs of this large facility. On the electrical side, FCE included the interconnection of a 120kw photovoltaic array to meet the building’s flexibility needs.
